In the cemetery, 11 unknown Polish soldiers killed in 1920 were buried in a common grave. Later, 2 soldiers of the Border Protection Corps who died in the defensive war in September 1939 were also buried in the same grave. After this second burial, a low metal cross was placed on the grave with a tin plate bearing the inscription: "Ś.P. / Unknown / Defenders of the Fatherland / Fallen in 1920. / - 11 - soldiers / in 1939. - 2 żołn. K.O.P.". In 2003. Guard of Polish Graves from Wrocław erected a cross next to this grave with the emblem of their association. In the same year, R. Tryzna, a native of Rubieżewicz, erected a monument here to commemorate those buried. The inscription on the monument reads: "To the Defenders of the Fatherland 11 soldiers of the First World War 1920 and 2 soldiers of the K.O.P. 1939" . This inscription contains an error as the war of 1920 was not the First World War.
