Biography:

Adam Styka (1890-1959), son of Jan Styka, painter. Between 1908 and 1912 he studied at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Paris. During the First World War he served in the French army. He received a scholarship from the French government, which enabled him to travel to the African continent. Fascinated by the landscapes there, he created many landscapes inspired by African regions.
