Biography:

Anna Zbysława Praxmayer (1937), born in Lviv, daughter of Jan Marian Praxmayer and Antonina, née Niedźwiecki. Polish artist working in sculpture. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. From 1962 she was awarded a scholarship to the Accademi di belle Arti di Brera in Milan. She realised several works in Italy. For 13 years she worked at the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Krakow. From 1985 to 1998 she was a member of the jury of international competitions organised by the Centro Dantesco in Ravenna.
