Antoni Malinowski, born in 1955 in Warsaw, is a Polish artist living in London since 1980, known for his experimental approach to colour and space. He creates monumental painterly installations in collaboration with architects, including for the Luxor Theatre in Rotterdam and the Royal Court Theatre in London, where his most recognisable work, 'Vermilion Wall', was created. His work explores the relationship between light, movement and architecture. His works can be found in the collections of the Tate, the Arts Council and the British Council, among others.
