Art historians remember Antoni Wiwulski as the author of the Grunwald Monument in Kraków and the Three Crosses Monument in Vilnius. Biographers of Ignacy Jan Paderewski will surely add that he enjoyed the pianist's care and recognition for many years. It was to him that Antoni Wiwulski thanked for his generosity in financing the treatment and operations that saved his fragile health. It was also to Paderewski that he owed the commission which made him a well-known artist almost overnight, whose works not only gain recognition, but also arouse emotions and are a source of discussion.
