The Bernardine historical-architectural ensemble is a unique complex in Vilnius Old Town. It consists of the well-known Church of St. Francis of Assisi (Bernardine), St. Anne's Church and the Bernardine Monastery. Legend has it that Napoleon Bonaparte, enchanted by the beauty of the church, wanted to take it to Paris on his hand.
