Biography:

Bohdan Paczowski (1930-2017), born in Warsaw, architect, essayist and photographer. He studied architecture at the Polytechnics of Krakow and Milan. From 1952 he worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of Interior Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. From 1969 to 1980 he had a studio in Milan. He then moved to Paris, where he also ran a studio (1980-1990). From 1989 he ran the Paczowski et Fritsch Architectes studio in Luxembourg. He realised many projects in the countries where he lived, including a hospital in Aubervilliers and Compiègne in France and the Triodos Park in Neudorf. He was responsible, with his team, for the project to enlarge the headquarters of the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg. He has won many prestigious awards. He was chairman of the international jury in the competition for the architectural concept of the Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw.
