Biography:

Polish lawyer and state activist in the Polish Government in Exile. Born in Riga. He graduated in law from Stefan Batory University in Vilnius. He participated in the Polish-Bolshevik War. He was Head of the Civil Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland in Exile, then took over as Minister of Justice. From 1973 to 1991, he sat on the National Council of the Republic of Poland. Promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel by the authorities in exile.
