Biography:

Bronisław Wiktor (1886-1961), born in Markowce, architect and painter. He studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the Lviv Polytechnic. In 1910, he began parallel art studies at the School of Painting run by Stanisław Batowski-Kaczor. In 1917, he became an assistant professor of construction. In 1945, he began working at the Wrocław Polytechnic. He was a member of the Association of Polish Architects. He designed many buildings, including the residential colony of twenty-seven houses "Kresowy Dom" on Filipówka and Kwiatkówka in Lviv. In addition, he created several tombstone sculptures in the Lychakiv Cemetery and several dozen watercolours.
