Design competition for a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients in Lviv resolved

The memo informs about the completed competition and the prizes awarded for the project of a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients in Lviv. Among those awarded prizes were Edward Madurowicz, Bronisław Wiktor, Marian Nikodemowicz, Jadwiga Dobrzyńska-Łoboda and Zygmunt Łoboda. The sanatorium was opened in 1931, and the architect Adolf Kamienobrodzki was responsible for the project carried out in 1927-1929 and its implementation. The building was constructed at 31 Kurkova Street in Lviv (now Lysenko Street). Today a children's hospital is located there.
