Caffe Concerto Paszkowski in Florence

Karol Paszkowski was the son of a participant in the January Uprising who settled in Florence. Here he founded the historic Paszkowski Brewery, which in time became a café: Caffè Concerto Paszkowski. The café was a meeting place for Poles, political and social discussions. The place was visited by, among others: Jan Kasprowicz, Władysław Stanisław Reymont, Karol Szymanowski, Leopold Staff and Stefan Żeromski.
