Armenian cemetery in Akhaltsikhe

The Armenian cemetery is located in the south-eastern part of the town on the south side of the main road running through the settlement on the slope of a hilly area. It lies at the end of a stony road climbing up towards the south. Opposite it, on two sides - north and east, there are residential and farm buildings. It is surrounded by a high stone wall, partly devastated on the eastern side. According to a local account, it was founded in a place called "Gypsy Settlement".
