Roman Catholic cemetery in Maniewicza

Cemetery with Polish gravestone monuments. Documentation was made for the cemetery (5 cards stored in the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage). Information about the cemetery published (see bibliography).

The remains of the church cemetery in Maniewicza, according to Hauser, include two tombstones of pre-war parish priests, unnamed, but one with the inscription "To the church founder - parishioners". The parish church of the Transfiguration was built in 1934 through the efforts of Father Bolesław Jastrzębski. The church is currently being renovated. Hauser still mentions the gravestone of Józefa Dąbrowska, who died in 1945, and the obelisk from 1929 of soldiers of the 1st Brigade of the Polish Legions who died between 1914 and 1916. The monument has been renovated and inscribed, and forms the centre of the legionaries' quarters.

In 2021, the gravestones of parish priests were finally restored and covered with grey granite: Bolesław Jastrzębski and Ignacy Romanowski cf. photo https://polonika.pl/programy/programy-grantowe/programy-grantowe-instytutu/cmentarze-na-ukrainie-2021-kresowe .
