Cemetery in Anisimovichi

The exact date of the establishment of the cemetery is not known. The dates on the graves may point to the 1920s / 1930s as the time when the necropolis was established. The cemetery is located approximately 300 m from the village buildings and is situated on a hill. It covers a small area of approximately 0.25 ha. The cemetery has a hexagonal plan and has no internal section divisions. On the north-western side, the ruins of a rectangular-plan cemetery chapel have been preserved. Most of the gravestones preserved in the cemetery have simple forms and are mainly made of granite and concrete. One of such tombstones are the preserved graves of Jozef Wysocki and Wincenty Wieliczko: Ś. P. JÓZEF WYSOCKI/ PROSI O ZDROWAŚ MARYJA/ UR. 16 IV 1885/DIED. 8 V 1930, HERE LIES/ VINCENTY WIELICZKO/ D. 25 I 1930/ AGED 90.
