Cemetery in Bóbrka

The Catholic cemetery in Bóbrka was probably established in the early 19th century (judging by the dates on the surviving tombstones). It is located in the northern part of the town, "on the right side of the road to Staryi Siol and further to Lviv". It is situated among trees, on a hillside. It is maintained in good condition and is still active. Mainly fragments of the wall with a magnificent gate and partially the spatial arrangement have been preserved. In the cemetery there is a neo-Gothic chapel with a bell, decorated with the Gryf coat of arms.
Hauser mentions, among others, the following gravestones: Teofil Chmura - "a rock topped with a 'knotty' cross, with a sculpture of a floating angel leading a child by the hand", Adam Nyczka - "a monument with the figure of the Immaculate made in Makolondra's workshop in Lvov", or Włodz Bodakowski (d. 1866) - "a high stone monument with a figure of the Immaculate made in Makolondra's workshop in Lvov". 1866) - "a tall stone obelisk".
Some of the gravestones were deliberately vandalised, such as the one belonging to a state police constable "killed in the defence of public order", whose name was treated with a hammer
