Chernihivtsi cemetery

The cemetery is located on the territory of the former (until 1939) district of zbaras. The cemetery is located on the north-eastern outskirts of the village of Chernivtsi. It was probably established before 1813, which is indicated by the oldest preserved monuments. There are 9 preserved tombstones commemorating Poles who died before 1945. Next to the cemetery is an Orthodox church. The Polish tombstones come from local workshops. Among the gravestone forms, crosses with arms ending in a trillium predominate, crosses on a pedestal, an obelisk and two gravestones with damaged figural sculpture from local workshops are also preserved. The oldest gravestone is dated 1813.
