Cemetery in Daniszew

The active Catholic cemetery, established in the second half of the 19th century, is located outside the village, about 600 m from the village buildings. The cemetery has a rectangular ground plan, is located on the edge of the forest, covers an area of 1 ha and is fenced with a stone rampart. The layout of the cemetery is not clearly divided - the paths divide the layout asymmetrically. It is dominated by gravestones from the first half of the 20th century, however, there are many graves from the second half of the 19th century. The oldest gravestone of Romuald Panasewicz is in the form of a rectangular granite slab with a preserved inscription: / HERE LIES THE CORPSE/ OF THE LATE ROMUALD/ PANASIEWICZ/ BORN. 1812 R. + 19 FEBRUARY 1861/.
Information about the cemetery has been published (see bibliography).
