Kniahinin cemetery

The World War I war cemetery, is located on the eastern edge of the village. It borders the Orthodox cemetery to the east. The cemetery has a rectangular ground plan and covers an area of 0.12 ha. Traces of graves have been preserved on the premises. In the south-western part there is a contemporary monument. It has the form of a granite vertical slab, topped with a triangle. It bears an inscription informing of the 2,500 Russian soldiers who were buried here and who perished during the Operation Varsovian, during the First World War. The inscription reads: / ZDES ZAHORONIENY/ 2500 RUSSKIH SOLDAT/ POGIBSYH W PERVUJU/ MIROVUJU VOJNU/ PRI PROVEDENJI/ NAROCANSKOJ/ OPÉRACJI/ 1914-1918/.
