Cemetery in Kobylnik

An active Catholic cemetery established around the mid-19th century is located approximately 300m west of the church. The cemetery is rectangular in plan, located on a flat area. It covers an area of 1.4 hectares and is fenced with a mesh fence. The entrance gate is located on the south-west side. Two irregular paths run through the cemetery. On the western side it is adjacent to the new cemetery. Gravestones from the 1st half of the 20th century predominate. The oldest surviving grave, belonging to Tytus Swietorzecki, dates from 1877. It has the form of a cross on a pedestal, made of red granite (only remnants remain). The inscription reads: / TYTUS Swietorzecki/ UR. 20 MARCH 1818/ UM. 12 NOVEM. 1877 R./.
Information about the cemetery has been published (see bibliography).
