Cemetery in Korelicze

Cemetery with Polish gravestone monuments. Information about the cemetery has been published (see bibliography). As Lewkowski and Walczak write, the Orthodox cemetery is located in the north-eastern part of the village. A mass grave of German soldiers from World War I can be found in the cemetery. "On the grave there is a monument - a quadrilateral brick pillar covered with stones - pebbles, the whole is crowned with a sphere and a metal, military iron cross. On one of the walls of the pillar a rectangular niche with a metal inscription plaque. The plaque is illegible. An unknown number of German soldiers rest in the grave. At the southern border of the cemetery, a contemporary monument to Nikolai Arciuch, killed in 1933 by the "Belarusian occupiers"."
