Cemetery in Miora

An active Catholic-Orthodox cemetery, established in the late 19th century, is located in the south-eastern part of the village. The cemetery is rectangular in plan, without divisions into alleys and plots. It is located on a flat area and covers 0.84 ha and is fenced with a wooden fence. The cemetery is dominated by modern Orthodox tombstones. The oldest dated grave is the knocked-down granite obelisk of Vladimir Reutt from 1871.The inscription has been preserved: / TO THE SHADOWS OF THE LATE L.P./ WLODZIMIERZ REUTT/ DIED. 10 FEBRUARY/ 1871/ AT THE AGE OF 56/ TO THE BEST HUSBAND/ A GRIEVING WIFE/.
