Cemetery in Pleszewicze

Cemetery with Polish gravestone monuments. Information about the cemetery has been published (see bibliography). According to Anna Lewkowska, Jacek Lewkowski and Wojciech Walczak, the Catholic cemetery has a rectangular plan and is surrounded by a wooden fence. It was established most probably at the beginning of the 20th century. Most burials there are from the interwar period. The oldest gravestone, from 1915, belongs to Juliusz Ostrowski and has the form of a stone slab with the inscription: "JULIUSZ OSTROWSKI / LIVED 48 YEARS UM. / 4 JANUARY. 1915 R." In the cemetery there is a wooden chapel with a sheet metal roof. The cemetery is maintained in good condition.
