Cemetery in Starzyn

Cemetery with Polish gravestone monuments. Information about the cemetery has been published (see bibliography).
According to Anna Lewkowska, Jacek Lewkowski and Wojciech Walczak, the active Catholic cemetery is located in the south-western corner of Starzyna. It has a rectangular plan with a truncated northern and eastern corner, and is not divided into plots and alleys. It has an area of 0.75 hectares surrounded by a wooden fence. It was created in the early 20th century. It contains most contemporary burials. The oldest gravestone, from 1936, commemorates Mieczyslaw Lysy and has the form of a vertical slab with the inscription: "Ś. P. MIECZYSŁAW ŁYSY / LIVED 6 YEARS / DIED. 12 FEBRUARY / 1936 R. / PAM. FROM THE FAMILY". The cemetery is maintained in good condition.
