According to Anna Lewkowska, Jacek Lewkowski and Wojciech Walczak, there is a Gothic defensive church in Synkovichi, built in the 15th/16th century. "The square around the church is surrounded by a brick wall, with an entrance gate from the west. In the church cemetery, under the wall on the eastern side behind the apse, one gravestone has been preserved - a granite rectangular stele on a cuboidal base with a bas-relief cross along its length. It is the grave of Kazimierz Godlewski (d. 1930), son of the owner of Synkowicze."
