Šavry cemetery

Cemetery with Polish gravestone monuments. Information about the cemetery has been published (see bibliography).
According to Anna Lewkowska, Jacek Lewkowski and Wojciech Walczak, the active Catholic cemetery has a plan of an oval-shaped rectangle and an area of 0.1 ha surrounded by a low wall. It was created in the second half of the 19th century. Two tombstones have survived from that time, and contemporary ones predominate. The oldest, from 1889, has the following inscription: "BOLESŁAW OSTYK-NARBUTT / AGED 46 / DIED. 8 SEPTEMBER 1889 / PEACE TO HIS SOUL". To quote the aforementioned authors: "Outside the fence of the cemetery, at its north-western corner, there is a contemporary boulder with a rectangular memorial plaque, with an inscription in Belarusian, dedicated to the Narbutt family, participants in the 1863 uprising." The cemetery is maintained in good condition.
