Cemetery in Zubkov

Cemetery with Polish gravestone monuments. Information about the cemetery has been published (see bibliography).
According to Anna Lewkowska, Jacek Lewkowski and Wojciech Walczak, the active Catholic cemetery in Zubkovo has hard to establish boundaries, and was probably established on a plan similar to an oval. It was established in the early 20th century. Most of its tombstones are from the first half of that century. Quoting the aforementioned authors: Anna Lewkowska, Jacek Lewkowski and Wojciech Walczak write: "Most of the tombstones have the form of vertical slabs topped with a stone or metal cross. The oldest gravestone in the cemetery of Adolf Borysewicz, dating from 1925, is also in this form." The inscription from it reads: "Here lie the remains / of the late / ADOLF BORYSEWICZ / LIVED 62 / DIED 10 NOVO / FALL 1925".
