The Polish House in Suceava was built by members of the Polish Brotherhood and Reading Society between 1903 and 1907. It was nationalised by the communist authorities and only recovered in 1991, becoming the headquarters of the Union of Poles in Romania (Uniunea Polonezilor din România).
