The Polonica Institute has published a "Handbook for the inventory of Polish cemeteries and tombstones abroad" intended for amateurs and professionals.

It tells us what an inventory of necropolises and tombstones is all about, how to measure them, how to recognise the material from which they are made and how to prepare documentation of such work. This is a meeting for anyone who enjoys art and culture projects, who feels interested in monuments and, above all, is interested in volunteering.

We also talk about the grants awarded for projects in 2021 in the Polonika Institute's grant programme "Polish cultural heritage abroad - volunteering". It supports community involvement in the preservation of tangible elements of Polish cultural heritage remaining abroad.
