Biography:

Ewa Partum, born in 1945 in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, conceptual artist. From 1963 to 1965, she studied at the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Łódź, and then continued her education at the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, studying under Aleksander Kobzdej and Stefan Gierowski. She defended her diploma in 1970. From 1973, she was involved in avant-garde film, focusing mainly on feminist themes. In the 1990s, she returned to her earlier passions related to concrete poetry.
