Biography:

Feliks Gąsiorowski (1815-1891), born in Łuck. He studied in Warsaw, completed his architectural studies in Paris and Rome. Between 1848 and 1890, he worked in Odessa. There he carried out numerous commissions, and was the architect of various associations (Odessa Committee for the Care of Prisons; Women's Benevolent Society). He chaired various committees and was on the jury of many competitions. His realisations include: Belina-Brzozovsky Palace in Odessa (1851-1852), the residence of the entrepreneur Novikov, which now houses the Museum of History and History (1876), the Archaeological Museum and Public Library Building (1883), the Odessa Opera and Ballet Theatre (1884-1887).
