Feliks Rymkiewicz (1880-1851), born in Voronkov, Mogilev Governorate (now Belarus), graduate of medical studies at Vilnius University, physician, as the first in Poland and Lithuania to use a stethoscope in medical practice, adjunct professor at Vilnius University (1825), lectured on physiology, therapeutics and the so-called medical encyclopaedia at the Vilnius Medical and Surgical Academy, president of the Vilnius Medical Association, author of works: "Message on cholera and ways of purifying the air", "On the science of homeopathy", "Museum anatomicum", author of a Polish-Latin and Latin-Polish dictionary of medical words, doctor at the Noble Institute, physician-in-chief of Savich Hospital.
