Biography:

Franciszek Wincenty Ignacy Korytowski (1768-1834), born in Koryt, son of Stanislaw Korytowski and Wiktoria Koczorowska, Podolia landowner, owner of Ternopil and surrounding estates, Crown swordsman of Galicia. His wife was Countess Nikodema Bok-Zabielska. They had three children: Julia, Joanna and Erazm.

Circa. 1810, he settled in Podolia, under Austrian rule, where he purchased the Tarnopol estate from the Potocki family, including Tarnopol, Płotycza, Hleszczawa and Sidorów. He held public offices - he was a member of the Galician States (1817) and a commissioner of the State Sejm (1827).
