Franciszek Opyrchał (1909-1997), born in Krzęcin, son of Piotr Opyrchał and Magdalena Knapik. An unskilled labourer by profession. During World War II, from 1940, a prisoner of war. Naturalised in France on 27 April 1951 by decree No 17519x46-75.

He was first married on 19 May 1934 in Paris to Helena Krzysztofek (born 9 June 1917 in Strzelce Wielkie), daughter of Jan Krzysztofek, former, and Bronisława Kosoły. The marriage ended in divorce before 1952. He later entered into a second marriage with Gertruda Kozioł.
