The main building of the Lviv Polytechnic

The design for the building of the Lviv Polytechnic was commissioned to Julian Zachariewicz in 1872. The following year the building was authorised to begin construction, which was completed on 1 October 1877. The building is in the then popular Neo-Renaissance style.
