According to statistics from 1931, the village had 114 homesteads and 632 inhabitants. Only Poles lived here. During the Second World War a detachment of the Home Army was stationed in Stanisłówka for some time, providing protection for the population from attacks by bandits. The village was a place of refuge for many Poles from the neighbouring villages. On the morning of 14.04.1944, the AK unit left for the forest. In the afternoon numerous UPA militias took advantage of the departure of the unit and attacked the village. Despite a desperate defence, the attackers managed to burn most of the village buildings. Notified of the attack, the Home Army unit returned to the village and drove the attackers out, inflicting heavy losses on them. The unit was commanded by Second Lieutenant Onufry Kuźniar "Popiel". The relief saved the inhabitants, but there were casualties among both civilians (7 people were identified) and AK soldiers (5 names were identified). The soldiers were buried under a roadside cross, while the civilian victims were buried near their farms. Two days after the attack, the population of Stanisłówka evacuated under the protection of AK soldiers to Żółkwi. After their departure, the village was razed to the ground. What remained, however, was a concrete cross pedestal, under which the fallen Home Army men were buried. On 15.07.1999, the former inhabitants of the village placed a new cross and a plaque on this pedestal to commemorate the fallen and murdered. The inscription on the plaque reads: "In memory of those who lived, worked and departed to God on Stanislowka. They ask for prayer / Grateful parishioners / Renewed 15.07.1999". The victims from this village are commemorated with a symbolic gravestone in Warszowice, Poland, and in the cemetery in Mosty Wielkie, Zolkievsky district.
