In the border strip between Poland and Ukraine there is a grave of Poles from nearby Machnówek, murdered by the Ukrainian Insurgent Army. The grave is located in the forest and is fenced with a metal fence. A tall wooden cross stands in front of the grave. On the grave there is a light granite slab with the following inscription: "In this place rest the inhabitants of Machnówek murdered during World War II in April 1944. / Białosowska Anna / Białosowska Eugenia / Brzozowska Anna / Brzozowska Maria / Fujara Jacek / Fujara Katarzyna / Fujara Mikołaj / Fujara Paraskiewia / Lorek Gabriel / Noworol Jan / Noworol Michał / Noworol Stanisław / Noworol Władysław / Owsicki Jan / Owsicka Katarzyna / Owsicka Maria / and many others whose names are unknown".

At present, the grave is looked after by the Association for the Ulhówek Commune "Robim co możem".
