Tomb of the Doctor

A tomb in the form of a sarcophagus on a plinth under a canopy supported by four canellated columns. The whole now broken up and demolished. Sarcophagus on a three-tier pedestal, long sides with extinguished torches on the sides and an esculapist serpent in the centre, a short Latin cross on the sides; classical Greek gabled canopy with acroterions on the corners and a cube cornice encircling the whole from below.

18th/19th century.
