Tomb of the Gieysztor and Rudzki families

A rectangular tomb framed by a stone band at the head of which is a cross on a two-stepped pedestal and a two-stepped base framed on the sides by rectangular plaques forming a wall. On the sides of the cross there are tablets with engraved inscription (1, 2). On the band, five pedestals originally connected on the sides by a cast-iron chain and on the front by a cast-iron bar.

On the basis of the cards established by Wacław Wejtka between 20 April and 5 November 1936, it must be assumed that the tomb was created in the summer of 1936. Józef Rudzki was a doctor. According to Wacław Wejtka's card the inscription: S + P. / Karolek / Gieysztor / Died 10 September 1911 in St. Petersburg / aged 16. / S + P/ Marja z Rudzkich Gieysztorowa / lived 67 years / Died 4 November 1935 //.

State of preservation:

corrosion, mosses, lichens, cracks, cavities

Comments on the state of preservation and visible restoration:

a piece of chain link missing from the fence.
