Władysław Markowicz, Home Army soldier, pseud. "Tajoj", born in 1918, fought in the battle with the Germans near Vorziane (now in Belarus), which took place on 31.01.1944. He was seriously wounded and died shortly afterwards. He was initially buried in Turow Wielki, in a common grave with the other Home Army men killed in that battle. In autumn 1944, Wladyslaw Markowicz's family moved his remains to the cemetery in Korkozyszki and placed him in the family grave. The grave is located to the left of the central entrance to the cemetery, on the lower terrace of the necropolis. The tombstone inscription in no way refers to this soldier's affiliation to the AK, it reads: "Markowicze / Konstanty / Julia / Konstanty / Władysław".
A soldier of the AK, Ludwik Masiewicz, pseud. "Bialy", was buried in this cemetery, also in a family grave. During the vetting of the cemetery, carried out by employees of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in 2024, this grave could not be found.
