Graves of Home Army soldiers killed during Operation "Ostra Brama" in 1944.

Three soldiers of the Home Army who fell in Vilnius in 1944 during the Operation "Ostra Brama" (Gates of Dawn), which consisted in liberating the city from the German occupation before the entry of the Soviet army, are buried in one plot in the Vilnius cemetery in the Sołtaniszki district. The personal details of only one soldier are known - Henryk KOZAKIEWICZ alias "Kordzik", the other two soldiers are unknown.
Three identical concrete crosses were placed on their graves in 1993. The site is cared for by local Poles and the grave crosses have recently been restored.
