Graves of Polish Army soldiers killed in September 1939.

The cemetery in Luboml contains unnamed graves of Polish soldiers killed in September 1939. In the summer of 2009, during cleaning work at the cemetery, members of the Polish Voluntary Labour Corps erected three wooden crosses at the burial place of Polish Army soldiers (the place was indicated by witnesses). The commemoration was set up with the permission of the local Ukrainian authorities.

Between the crosses is the grave of Zenon Jan Kowalczyk, Cpl. 55 pp, fallen on 22 September 1939, with the inscription: "Ś.P. / Zenon Jan / Kowalczyk / kapr. pchor. 55 p.p. / born 31 March 1919 - died 22 September 1939 / Honour his memory!".
