Henryk Uziembło (1879-1949), painter, graphic artist and designer. He graduated from the Artistic Industry Department of the Higher Industrial School in Cracow and from the Kunstgewerbeschule des Osterreichisches Museum für Kunst und Industrie in Vienna. He also studied in Paris and London. Co-founder and promoter of the use of Polish folk patterns in ornamentation.
