During this meeting, we will go on an expedition along the trail of places connected with Hetman Stanisław Żółkiewski.

We will examine why it was this exceptional man who went down in the pages of Polish history, and we will also talk about the most important battles in which he took part.

What is left of the hetman and is there anything more to discover? What are the most important polonies connected with him? How was Zhovkva - the ideal city - designed and how was it built, in which restoration work has been carried out for many years, thanks to grants from the Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sport and the Polonica Institute?

There will also be information about our animation 'Hetman', which accompanies the exhibition dedicated to Stanislaw Żółkiewski. We will talk about how the production was created and which objects related to Polish cultural heritage abroad featured in it.

The expert on the Hetman and his adventures will be Wojciech Kalwat - historian and populariser of history, co-author of the script of the animation "Hetman". He works in the Polish History Museum and in the History Magazine "Mówią Wieki".
