Information about the facility:
The Polish Museum in Rapperswil, the oldest Polish museum abroad and the largest Polish cultural centre in Switzerland, has a rich archive of documents, most of them unique.

Completed works:
In connection with the renovation of the headquarters of the Polish Museum - Rapperswil Castle, it is necessary to secure and move the collections and collections to storage or temporary premises. The successful transfer of the collections required the preparation of an accurate inventory of the collections. The aim of the task was to make a minimum of 2,100 entries in the database.

Within the scope of the task, 2,128 museum artefacts were recorded in the museum database, which allows information (including images) to be collected on objects held by the museum. Inventory books were drawn up in which basic (and, where possible, extended) data on the monument was recorded. At the same time, marking of the inventoried objects was carried out; missing visual documentation of the objects was completed; basic conservation work was carried out and the presence of any documents relating to the accession of the works was recorded.
