Biography:

Jan Dziaczkowski (1983-2011), born in Warsaw, painter, photographer, collage artist, author of magazine illustrations and designer of book and album covers. In 2002-2007, he studied at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he obtained his diploma in the atelier of Professor Krzysztof Wachowiak. From 2004 to 2007, he was a co-founder of the informal artistic group Pracownia Nuku. His debut album Kolaże (Collages) was published in 2007 by Korporacja Ha!art. Dziaczkowski also created illustrations for magazines such as Machina, Architektura, A4, Ha!art and Przekrój. He died on 20 September 2011 during a hike in the Tatra Mountains.
