Biography:

Jan Tadeusz Loth (1900-1933), born in Warsaw, was a footballer, athlete and tennis player.

His football career was mainly associated with Polonia Warsaw, which he joined in 1919. In 1921, he made his debut for the Polish national team in its first official match against Hungary. He appeared in a total of five matches for the national team, both as a goalkeeper and a field player. In 1926, he won the Polish vice-championship with Polonia.

He was the national record-holder in the 4 × 400 metres relay and vice-champion of Poland in high jump. He ended his sporting career in 1930. He died of tuberculosis and was buried in the Evangelical Augsburg cemetery in Warsaw.
