Biography:

Jean Ginsberg (1905-1983) was a French architect of Polish-Jewish origin, active in France, Israel and Morocco. He studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology, with Robert Mallet-Stevens at the École spéciale d'architecture and with Joseph Marrast at the École des beaux-arts. He apprenticed with Le Corbusier and André Lurçat. From 1930, he operated under the banner of his own architectural firm. He is the author of several thousand architectural projects. His work received particular acclaim in the 1950s and 1960s.
