Biography:

Jerzy Bogusław Mokrzyński (1909-1997), born in Rzeszów, was an architect. He studied architecture at the Lviv Polytechnic and the Warsaw Polytechnic, graduating in 1935. A year later, together with his fellow students from Warsaw - Wacław Kłyszewski and Eugeniusz Wierzbicki - he founded the "Tigers" group. Together they carried out many significant projects, including the Party House in Warsaw and the Railway Station in Katowice. He took part in the 1939 Defence War and was a member of the Home Army. He was a respected architect, representing modernism, which left a lasting mark on Polish architecture.
