This time, in the conversations about polonies in the series "Thursday at ease", we take you on a trip to Kamieniec Podolski, a city unique to the history of the Crown of the Polish Kingdom, where you can still feel the spirit of the old times.

We tell you about the most important buildings that have survived the historical turmoil and recall the profiles of famous people connected with this city. We also try to establish to what extent Henryk Sienkiewicz and his "Pan Wołodyjowski" influenced our perception of this unique place.

We find out why the bridge connecting the fortress with the town is called the 'Turkish' bridge, and explain the dispute between architects of the Stanisławów period - Hilary Szpilowski and Stanisław Zawadzki - over the barracks in Kamieniec.
