Biography:

Karol Stryjeński (1887-1932) - Polish architect, sculptor, pedagogue; active in Poland. Director of the School of Wood Industry in Zakopane (1922-1927) and the Institute of Art Propaganda in Warsaw (1932). He lectured at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1927-1932). Privately, he was the husband of the painter, graphic artist and designer of applied art Zofia Stryjeńska.
